OCI AGRO (formerly DSM Agro) uses the Best Available Techniques recommended by the European Fertilizer Industry to manufacture its products. These techniques ensure that the most energy efficient and environmental friendly methods are used to produce fertilizers of the highest quality.
OCI AGRO makes constant efforts to improve its production facilities. Since 1997 greatly improved energy efficiency was achieved in the ammonia plants at Geleen. OCI pays a lot of attention to process innovations and the use of advanced production techniques.

In addition, OCI AGRO adheres to the principles of Responsible Care developed by the international chemical industry. This means that constant efforts are made to improve performance in the fields of Safety, Health and the Environment.
